Staff is super nice and professional. Dr. Eyad Nusayer has helped me immensely. I was in a great deal of pain and a bit at my wits end when I first met with him. However, he listened, asked fact finding questions, and suggested conservative treatment while also letting me know what further steps were available if my pain/issues escalated. I followed his instructions and recevied my oral splint a couple months ago. Treatment has been super successful and alot of my issues are either gone, or greatly improved. Thank you!

I'm not "out of the woods" of my issue yet, but the two visits I've had to SSOM have been very helpful. I was fortunate to be helped by Dr. Zankar, who is one of the best doctors/dentists I've encountered. She is patient, diligent, and clearly approaches her work with great expertise and care. I wish I wasn't dealing with this particular health issue (of course), but since I am, I am fortunate to have been referred to SSOM and Dr. Zankar.

I had a mandibular advancement device (MAD) created by another dentist and experienced issues with jaw pain. After trying the device for a few weeks and then a break and trying again, I gave up. My regular dentist suggested getting a second opinion with South Sound Oral Medicine. Dr. Eyad Nusayr was patient, explained the issues I was experiencing with my device and why it is not his preferred device. With TMD patients they need to move at a slower pace and make smaller adjustments. The device I have can only move in 1mm increments, vs .01 mm. I would trust Dr. Nusayr with my future specialized dental needs.

I am so grateful to SSOM for helping me live pain free. My jaw was a mess before coming to this practice. I appreciate the staff and brilliant doctors including Dr. Nusayr. These folks offer good medicine at its best.

I was referred here for TMJ. The staff was helpful, friendly and I really like Doctor Nusayr. He explained everything thoroughly and helped me get relief with a mouth splint. He answered all my questions and a month after receiving my splint (I wear it at night), the jaw pain and what I thought was ear pain are 75% gone, and I feel confident that I am going to just keep getting better. I was also informed that at any time if the splint feels off (too high or rough) that I can come back in and get adjustments for free.
